The never-ending series about a famous high school detective turned elementary school detective is about to get a bit longer! Already boasting over 1000 manga chapters, nearly 900 anime episodes, and 21 movies, the official Detective Conan website has officially announced the title of the 22nd feature length film!
Drum roll please…DAH DAH DAH DAAAAH! It’s called Meitantei Conan: Zero no Shikkonin (or Detective Conan: Zero’s Executioner in English). We also learned that the Japanese release date of the movie is April 13, 2018. And as always with every new DC movie, I wait with baited breath for the day I’ll be able to watch it.
For me, the most exciting part of this upcoming movie is that it serves as a sequel to the 20th Detective Conan movie, The Darkest Nightmare (which was sooooooooooo good!) Also, it’s going to feature one of my absolute favorite characters, Furuya Rei, and is going to serve as the debut movie for one of the suspects for Rum, the second in command of the Black Organization!
I’m super hyped for this, and you can bet I’ll keep my eyes peeled for updates. More information can be found here.
